Willy Michl (born Wilhelm Karl Michl on July 9, 1950 in Munich ) is a German singer-songwriter and a Munich original. 

The singer is nationally known as a blues bard and Isarindianer . His spiritual stage name Sound of Thunder , which is entered on his identity card , is a sign of his connection to the indigenous peoples of the continents. Willy Michl is the originator and inventor of the Bavarian blues music genre and a pioneer of alpine rock .

He has been marketing his records himself since 1980, and as a musician and stage artist he runs his own management from the beginning of his career. Michl is an indie artist , freelance without a record deal since 1978, German and English-speaking songwriter ( singer-songwriter ), composer , lyricist , singer and guitarist , author , visual artist , actor and music producer .
