Nina & Mike were a Schlager duo consisting of Michaela Schähfer née Hennemann (born June 19, 1945 in Halle (Saale) ; † April 7, 2005 in Wilhelmshaven ) and Lothar Schähfer (born  January 14, 1944 in Mannheim ; † April 16, 2005 in Wilhelmshaven). July 2015 ibid)  , which was particularly successful in the first half of the 1970s. At the beginning of their career they operated as "Joe & Jenny" and as "Michaela & Lothar". Between 1973 and 1975 they were able to place themselves five times in the German hit parade and reached it with Fahrende Musikantenand the German version of Paloma Blanca twice in the top ten. At that time they were produced by Jack White .
