I bisonti

I Bisonti are an Italian beat musical group active mainly during the sixties, in the golden age of beat music.

In 1965 the original formation was composed by Bruno Castiglia (vocals and singing), Gianni Calabria (drums), Ennio Castiglia (bass), Angelo Milani (keyboards), Luigi Biagioni (guitar). These last three participated in the making of the first two 45s and then left the group replaced by Paul Cocchi (c. bass) and later by Fulvio Carotti (left-handed guitarist who gives a new sound
to the repertoire). The complex recorded the vast majority of songs for the City record company; releasing two albums from 1968 to 1969, Our Successes, and I Bisonti. In 1968 the Bisonti won the third edition of the Rieti Festival, and in the following edition they performed the theme song, Mi è resta un fiore.
